The original oil filters were felt. We have been able to get some of these filters. Two manufactures of oil filter were used over the course of time, Tecalemit and Purolator. Fortunately the elements for both will interchange. They do, however require different sealing gaskets. Our filters have both thickness of sealing rings in the package. The 803cc engine used a different filter these only fit the 948cc and 1098cc
