Hub Nut, Right Hand Side Rear Wheel
After years of maintaining the Morris rear wheel bearings (see DIF147), the nut that retains the whole thing gets rounded off or chiseled away. The proper nut for the left hand side is DIF104, which is left hand thread, DIF103 is the right hand side and is right hand thread. See DIF102 for the proper lock washer / tab to secure the job.

Complete rear axle gasket and seal kit. Â This kit includes differential, wheel hub gaskets, wheel to axle o-ring, hub seals and axle hut locking tab. Â Enough parts to completely reseal the entire rear axle.

Wheel Bearing Kit Rear
Made by Lucas, this is all the parts needed to replace the rear wheel bearing.  The kit does one side of the axle, two kits will be needed per car. Worn rear axle bearings & seals can contribute to oil leaking onto the rear brakes or even a broken axle. After years of maintaining the rear wheel bearings the nut and washer that retains the whole thing gets pretty shabby and chisled away. The proper nut for the left hand side is DIF104, which is left hand thread, DIF103 is the right hand side nut and is right hand thread.Â
